reading back the last paragraph of my previous entry, i sound pretty much like a rebellious delinquent which i am actually not. weelll... maybe to a certain extent a little? so long as it's harmless, i think it should be alright to rebel once in a while la. haha.. adds more excitement to the mundane stuffs in life, don't you think so? :P

today is a real break of the week. i did nothing which is associated to dance. haha.. not that i'm hating dance but i kind of need a short break from it all. actually after joining tj dance, i'm loving dance more than i've ever did. maybe because of the people. my friends who have really gelled together because we share a common passion and the time and sweat that we all shed.

there's dance tomorrow. from 8-11am. this, they had informed all of us already. but self-practice after zaki's lesson was so last minute la. how am i going to make it for the second english service tomorrow? hais.. dunno la. i'll see things as it goes and i'll decide whether to stay for practice or go for service. no use deciding now cos i'm known to be fickle minded and change my decision at the last minute. speaking of which, i couldn't decide whether to watch aquamarine or when a stranger calls today. my sister left it up to me to decide. i preferred aquamarine but the latter was at a more favourable timeslot. i lined up at the ticketing queue with the intention to buy tickets for aquamarine. at the moment when i opened my mouth to ask for the tickets, i decided to buy tickets for when a stranger calls. its kind of frustrating to be so indecisive. but i can't find a way to change that.

so anyway, let's listen to my review on when a stranger calls. i'll rate the movie 2.5/5. firstly, the director tried to evoke suspense right from the start of the movie, which isn't appropriate for all viewers, especially those with heart problems. at the end of the show, i heard a child wailing away. haha.. maybe because he can't stand the scary sound effect which was playing practically throughout the entire show. secondly, there's just too much cheap thrills in the movie. the scary sound effects came on and the expression of the female lead seemed as if she saw the murderer/corpse but in fact, it was just the cat or the automatic light sensors or something equally stupid. and the same thing repeated quite a number of times which became pretty irritating. i got more interested in my food after that. thirdly, the real climax only happened towards the last bit of the show. fourthly, the kids whom the female lead was supposed to be babysitting were asleep 4/5 of the time and when they were awake, they only served to be a nuisance to her and her chances of staying alive. ok. i sound pretty heartless but we know the kids were not needed as the killer only went after the female lead. fifthly, you'd expect the murderer to be the mysterious college son but no, it was some unknown person who popped out of nowhere. as seen from the above, i know i'd be a most hated film critic. but anyway, it's not my ambition to be one. to prevent me from sounding totally pessimistic, i'd say that the female lead, camellia belle is really pretty. haha.. ok. that's so superficial.

A: The whole school.......one to screw it in and the rest to cheer and wave flags and banners to give him/her support.

A: NO LIGHT STILL CAN STUDY!!!!!

A: They're too busy trying to be one of the top 5 JCs...

Q: How many ACJC students does it take to change lightbulb?
A: None......they use all their money to employ YJC to do it for them.

Q: How many YJC students does it take to change a lightbulb?
A: None.....only one teacher to tell them what a lightbulb is in the first place and to demonstrate (how do you think they're able to change it for AC?)

A: They'd prefer it darker..........(hmmm...*raise eyebrow*)......

Q: How many JJC students does it take to change a lightbulb?
A: None......Their physics is so bad that they make the male teacher cry.....

Q: How many TPJC students does it take to change a lightbulb?
A: Would they bother??

Q: How many SAJC students does it take to change a lightbulb?
A: None.....they believe in praying for it.

Q: How many NYJC students does it take to change a lightbulb?
A: None.....they are still using oil lamps.

A: Huh, wat litebarb ...
